Dr. Foster concentrates her practice in family and cosmetic dentistry, and has a passion for treating children and apprehensive patients.

After spending several years as an associate dentist, Dr. Foster built her own dental practice in 1999 from the ground up and designed her office and practice to be conducive to the treatment of children and patients with fears and anxiety about dentistry.

The practice atmosphere is very lighthearted and upbeat as Dr. Foster’s goal is to create an entire generation of patients who enjoy going to the dentist by making their childhood dental experiences nonthreatening and enjoyable. It is eliminating this fear in her patients that is the most rewarding part of her practice.

Dr. Foster grew up in Lutherville, Maryland, and graduated from Dulaney High School in 1988 and then attended Loyola University in Maryland and graduated in 1992. She obtained her dental degree in 1996 from the New York University College of Dentistry.

She maintains an active membership in the American Dental Association, the MSDA, the BCDA, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Foster is married with two sons, ages 20 and 17. Her husband, Dr. Dave Ballenger, is a chiropractor with his own practice, Ballenger Chiropractic, just down the street from Timonium Dental.

When she is not at the office or keeping up with current trends in cosmetic dentistry through continuing education seminars, Dr. Foster can be found supporting her younger son on the lacrosse field, her older son at Johns Hopkins University where he is studying Electrical Engineering, or spending quality time with family and friends.

Smile!
