Dr. TJ Swauger is a caring, confident practitioner, with a passion for providing comfortable patient care.
At the conclusion of his undergraduate studies, Dr. Swauger was accepted to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. He became a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontics Honor Society. He was selected to work on the dental school admissions committee, as well as being chosen to complete a highly sought after oral surgery clerkship.
Motivated to continue his training in a more advanced setting, Dr. Swauger completed an additional year of hospital based care at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Completion of this optional hospital-based residency program allowed continued development as a competent practitioner and helped him widen his scope of practice.
Dr. Swauger strongly values continuing education and is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Maryland State Dental Association, and American Dental Association. Dr. Swauger is an active participant in numerous study clubs where he is able to collaborate with colleagues and specialists, staying abreast in the ever-changing world of dentistry.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Megan, and dog Pippin. As a family they enjoy boating and being outdoors. Dr. Swauger has a passion for his family, cars and music. He feels privileged to be able to provide excellent patient care to such a wonderful community.
